#AcWriMo: New Month, New Goals

November is Academic Writing Month, or #AcWriMo. This is a month where you set an ambitious writing goal and write with a community of fellow academic writers. You get virtual support and accountability. To learn more about it, check out this blog post. You can also follow the hashtag on Twitter and Facebook.

I think #AcWriMo is a good opportunity to set a significant goal, especially before the chaos that comes with the end of the semester. You can also use #AcWriMo as an opportunity to jumpstart your planning process. I  believe that setting monthly goals is a way to make steady progress year round. To support you in this, I have created an AcWriMo planner.

Even though I designed this planner with AcWriMo in mind, you can use it all the time. The planner will help you set a realistic goal and then take a daily moment of reflection to assess your progress towards your goals. I have used the exercises in this planner with great success while working with my coaching clients. I think they can work for you too!

Check out the planner and let me know if it works for you. You can access this planner through a sign-up form: just click here.
